Sponsored hitch hike to Tallin, Estonia

You may or may not know that this Easter I am undertaking a sponsored hitch hike to Tallin in Estonia, to raise money for charity. This is something the wonderful people at Sheffield Union Rag run every year, and I have wanted to do it since I came to university! As it's my final year, this is my last and only chance to do it!

Basically I need to get the 1800 or so miles from sunny Sheffield to Tallin, with a transport budget of only £15! I have booked a flight back, but will only be useful if I make it to Tallin!

If you would like to sponsor me, I would be very grateful - there is an online donation system, and you can find my profile here - http://www.bummit.co.uk/Profiles/View/296 just click on the nice pink "Sponsor Matthew" button.

My target is to raise £200, as this was a condition of entry into the event! There are some great charities being supported this year, and the money will be split between

For those of you interested, once the hitch hike starts I will be running an online blog and GPS tracker so that you can see how I get on over the 8 days, more information on this as it is available!

I will be hitching with Joe Allen (of Sure Radio) and we will be taking the camera to make a video diary as we go! Offers of lifts out of the UK will be gratefully accepted, please get in touch!
